Naseem Khan

Naseem Khan

BSc Economics, PGCE from The Institute Of Education (UCL), MA In Educational Leadership

Naseem gained his PGCE from the Institute of Education (UCL) in 2003, after having completed a BSc (Hons) in Economics from City University. In between the two qualifications Naseem worked as a consultant in the City of London before returning to his studies at the University of Madinah to read the Arabic Language Diploma. Naseem has held teaching and leadership roles both in the UK and internationally. He has been an advisor for UAE based public schools and carried out school evaluations for the Ministry of Education as lead inspector. Alongside his teaching and leadership roles Naseem is active in teacher training and school improvement, regularly delivering workshops. He has a MA in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Bath and a post graduate award in Islamic Studies from Warwick. Naseem is currently working as a headteacher in Birmingham.

Sakhawat Ali

PGCE Economics and Business, National Professional Qualification For Head Teachers (NPQH, Ofsted Trained Inspector

Sakhawat gained his PGCE in 1999 in Economics and Business Studies after graduating from Swansea University. Sakhawat has been a lifelong educator and involved in his own continual professional development. Along with teaching at both the primary and secondary sectors Sakhawat has completed and attained a NPQH headship qualification and is currently a head teacher in a UK private school. Sakhawat has also trained as an Ofsted inspector and inspected schools from 2010-2015. Sakhawat’s headships of schools in the UK have resulted in impressive improvements in teaching and learning and consequently pupil attainment.

Masood Khan

BSC Accounting and Finance, MSc In Business Information Systems, PGCE from The Institute Of Education (UCL), Director of Quranic Framework

Masood gained his PGCE from the Institute of Education (UCL) in 2002, after having completed a BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance and MSc in Business Information Systems. Most recently Masood attained a post-graduated qualification in educational management. Since attaining the PGCE Masood has taught continuously at one of London’s best schools. Prior to teaching Masood was an analyst and programmer for a very successful multinational. Masood has been a consultant for Nida Trust, a private school inspectorate and improvement consultancy. Alongside his teaching and roles Masood is active in interacting with the youth to nurture confident and Taqwa oriented Muslims. He was the founder of ‘Meet Your Muslim Neighbours’ dawah initiative in 2003; the community base program across the UK.

Syed Abdul Basit Kazmi

PGCE from The Institute Of Education (UCL), MSc In International Politics

Basit gained his PGCE from the Institute of Education (UCL) in 2000, after having completed a MSc from SOAS in International Politics. Abdul Basit has over 25 years’ experience of teaching and leadership positions and has been a very successful Head of Department in an outstanding Sixth Form College and has also held this position in a prestigious international school. Abdul Basit’s outstanding results have led him to being chosen as Edexcel’s most successful teacher of Geography in 2018.

Sakhawat Ali

MSc In Computing & Information System, PGCE Maths, MBA in Education Management

 

Amjad Malik completed his PGCE in Maths 1983. He held the post of Head of Maths faculty in a large state comprehensive for nine years in southeast London during the 1990’s. Amjad gained his Masters in Computing & Information Systems in 2005 and in 2013 he obtained his MBA in Education Management from the University of Leicester. Since then, he has gained considerable leadership experience as a Headteacher in one primary and two secondary schools. Amjad has also trained as an Ofsted inspector. Recently he has worked with an educational charity called Nida Trust, chairing the Headteachers forum, delivering training in schools and assisting in organising education conferences and seminars. He is currently working as a school advisor for the independent sector. Amjad Malik’s particular areas of expertise are Mathematics and Science.
